This is a queen size bed that has a regular metal frame that was purchased with the mattress from a furniture store. Measurement from floor to top of mattress is 27”. I wanted a metal frame that would not block the windows in this room, so I’m ok with the fact that this is not a tall headboard. As you can see, with a high mattress and only one pillow, some of the headboard is obscured. The quality is better than expected, lightweight, but sturdy once installed. It has a nice finish, very dark brown, and was not difficult to put together. As the directions stated, 2 people, 30 minutes. Very happy with this purchase, gives the cottage look I was looking for.
